Leadership Apopka brings together a group of community advocates, business executives and government officials to give attendees a broad base of knowledge on the Apopka region. Each attendee will develop stronger leadership skills, lasting relationships and business contacts to fuel their company’s growth.
Leadership Apopka starts off in January with an orientation session and continues one day a month through October. It culminates with a graduation celebration to the honor the leaders.
Sessions are held throughout Central Florida but will always start and end at the Apopka Chamber of Commerce office.
Each class will perform a community service project of their choice to improve the Apopka region. Each class will also read a current leadership book to help develop leadership skills.
Breakfast, lunch, transportation, reading materials and other materials needed for the program will be provided.
