Description
In collaboration with the Apopka Area Chamber of Commerce's Business Advisory Council, Planting Apopka was developed. Purpose: To bring Apopka area businesses together to form stronger connections with each other and the community, by "Embracing our Growing History". We are so excited for how this has taken root!
Through donations from sponsors like Bloem, LLC, Central Florida Ferns & Foliage, and others, we are launching a social media/Tik Tok/YouTube campaign as we give out #1000Plants over the course of the next few weeks through Planting Apopka and our partners, iPromise Gardens.
Bloem canvas planters that are made from recycled water bottles will start to be filled during the Apopka Serves day on Sunday, April 3.
A natural relationship was formed between the chamber committee and this Re-Imagine Communities project. Now iPromise is ready to shine in our community!
iPromise Gardens
This project is founded on the concept of growth, harmony, and planting seeds of positivity. What makes this initiative so unique is that the entire campaign was designed by children!!! We believe that there is enough negativity in the world and want to ensure that our community rises above this.
We encourage the WHOLE community to take the iPromise pledge.
iPromise Pledge:
"I promise to treat everyone with respect, kindness, and love regardless of race, religion, or belief. I promise never to discriminate or bully anyone but build him up knowing there is strength in unity. I promise to plant seeds of goodness in my community that will grow and make this world a better place."
Our goal is 50,000 people of all ages taking the pledge and helping us change the world. This is not your ordinary movement. It is planting with a purpose. We specifically call it a "social movement" because we encourage you to use your social media presence to promote positivity.
Follow us for exciting digital launch, next week! Sponsorship are available!
