Read Around the CityDescription
We are currently looking for businesses to participate in our 2nd Annual "Read Around the City".
Elementary students will embark on a fun and unique 4-week reading journey. As students read books, they will visit local businesses, listed on their maps, to receive incentive items and encouragement for reading books. Last year our students read over 1100 in 4 weeks!! Our goal is 2000 books read in 4 weeks. I know we can do it.
What is super cool is that this initiative has never been done in Central Florida and we are excited that it was birthed in our city. We are asking each business to agree to give at least 50 students free items. This is a great way to increase traffic in your location & market your business while helping our students. Sponsorship opportunities are also available. We truly hope you will consider joining the fun!
