Ambassadors

Key Responsibilities:

1. Member Engagement:

   • Actively engage with new and existing members, acting as their primary point of contact to ensure they feel welcomed and informed about Chamber benefits.
   • Check in with members regularly to gather feedback, address concerns, and maintain strong connections, contributing to member retention and satisfaction.

2. Event Participation and Support:

   • Attend and assist in Chamber events, such as networking mixers, ribbon cuttings, luncheons, and other special gatherings, providing a welcoming presence and connecting with members and guests.
   • Promote Chamber events and encourage member attendance through personal outreach and social media engagement.

3. Community and Business Outreach:

   • Represent the Chamber at community events, fostering goodwill and building awareness of Chamber initiatives and benefits.
   • Assist with onboarding new members by conducting orientation meetings or tours and providing information on ways to get the most out of Chamber membership.

4. Promotion of Chamber Programs and Resources:

   • Familiarize members with Chamber programs, events, and resources, sharing updates and encouraging active participation.
   • Serve as a resource for members looking to increase their visibility through sponsorships, promotional opportunities, or volunteer activities.

5. Networking and Relationship Building:

   • Actively network within the community to foster relationships, create partnerships, and identify potential new members for the Chamber.
   • Assist the Chamber in identifying key business leaders or influencers who may be valuable additions to the Chamber community.

6. Monthly Ambassador Meetings:

   • Attend regular Ambassador meetings to stay informed of Chamber activities, provide feedback, and share experiences from member interactions.

7. Supporting Chamber Goals and Initiatives:

   • Support and actively promote Chamber goals and initiatives, contributing to the Chamber’s mission of economic development and local business success.
   • Encourage participation in Chamber surveys, campaigns, or special initiatives, ensuring the Ambassador team’s efforts align with the Chamber’s strategic priorities.

Qualifications:

• Passion for supporting local businesses and fostering community growth.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and networking skills.
• Ability to dedicate time to attend events, meetings, and community functions.
• Familiarity with the Chamber’s mission, services, and membership benefits is preferred.
