    The Apopka Area Chamber of Commerce is Seeking Applications to Serve on our Board of Directors

     
    The Board of Directors of the Apopka Area Chamber of Commerce, Inc. is currently seeking applications from our members who are interested in serving on our Board of Directors.

    The Board is charged with setting the strategic mission and vision for the organization. The Board is also the governing body and all corporate powers are exercised by and under the authority of the Board of Directors.

    Those who are interested in applying to serve on the Board of Directors, must be current members of the Chamber at the time of application and in good financial standing. Additionally, candidates should possess a willingness to contribute a combination of "time, talent and treasure" to ensure future success of the Chamber. This is a three-year commitment and the term of office will begin on January 1, 2021 and conclude on December 31, 2023.


    To assist the nominating committee in learning more about your background, your business philosophy, your service to the Chamber and to the community and the region, please take a few moments to complete the following application below (see link to application).

    The 2020 Nominating Committee consists of seven (7) members including:

    Brent Hill, Chair of the Board
    Tim Clark, Chair-Elect of the Board
    David Gentry, Board Member
    Karen Raborn, Board Member
    Honorable Alexander Smith, General Member
    Dawn Willis, General Member
    Carmen Ruiz, General Member

    ***The deadline to submit the completed application and questionnaire for consideration is Friday, November 6, 2020 (at the close of business - 5:00 p.m.).***
