 Mayor Nelson’s 2nd Annual High School Career Education Event

• Details of the event: All Businesses Must Register Participation by February 15. 
• Tuesday, February 27, 2024
  8:00 AM Set Up at Wekiva High School/Gym
  9:00-10:30 AM EVENT Students Come to Get Job Training Information
  10:30 AM - Breakdown and Travel to Set-up at Apopka High School/Gym
  11:30 Lunch Served to exhibitors at Apopka High School/Gym
  12-12:30 PM Exhibitors Set up at Apopka High School/Gym
  12:30 - 2:30 PM - EVENT Students Come to Get Job Training Information
   
  Format for both events: 
  Manning a table for students to stop by and get more info about your programs. The schools will provide the tables and chairs at both locations (1 table per organization plus 2 chairs). Please bring your own table cover, marketing (potential of 300 students per location) and signage. Due to limited parking, car-pooling is encouraged.
   
• We encourage an interactive element to your exhibit such as a raffle for a small prize, or a fun give away. 

*These students are looking for information on different local training programs that lead to employment opportunities.
